Endoscopic removal of tracheobronchial foreign bodies: results on a series of 51 pediatric patients

Retrospective study of 51 pediatric patients demonstrating that flexible bronchoscopy with Dormia basket achieved higher success rates (97%) and shorter procedure times compared to rigid bronchoscopy for tracheobronchial foreign body removal. FOB proved effective as both diagnostic and therapeutic approach, particularly for peripherally located foreign bodies.
