Ketorolac after colectomy for ulcerative colitis in children: An analysis of opioid utilization and postoperative complications

Retrospective study of 60 pediatric ulcerative colitis patients undergoing colectomy found ketorolac use in 45% of cases was not associated with increased complications, bleeding, or disease flares. However, ketorolac did not reduce opioid consumption, suggesting further research is needed to establish its role in this population.
