Systematic review of 89 pediatric patients shows topical corticosteroid treatment for lichen sclerosus avoided circumcision in 35% of cases. However, treatment duration and follow-up periods were short across analyzed studies, indicating need for prospective randomized trials to establish definitive efficacy.
