This review examines complication prevention and management strategies for antegrade continence enema (ACE) procedures used to treat fecal incontinence in children with neuropathy, anorectal malformations, or severe constipation. Common complications include stoma stenosis, leakage, and catheterization difficulties, which can impact patient compliance and quality of life but are largely preventable and manageable.
