Bilateral hydrosalpinx in patients with Hirschsprung’s disease

Retrospective study examining bilateral hydrosalpinx development in female Hirschsprung's disease patients post-menarche. Five of 13 patients who underwent abdominoperineal surgery developed bilateral hydrosalpinx versus none in transanal approach group, though difference was not statistically significant. Authors recommend gynecological surveillance for HD females due to fertility implications.
