Complex gastroschisis: Clinical spectrum and neonatal outcomes at a referral center

Retrospective analysis of 58 neonates with complex gastroschisis at a referral center reveals significantly prolonged parenteral nutrition duration (92 vs 32 days) and hospital stay (119 vs 42 days) compared to uncomplicated cases. Complications included intestinal necrosis, atresia, NEC, and severe GERD, with outcomes varying by complication type.
