Thoracoscopic sympathotomy for palmar hyperhidrosis: How young is too young?

Bilateral thoracoscopic sympathotomy effectively resolves palmar hyperhidrosis in pediatric patients (ages 11-19) with high satisfaction rates and no mortality. While compensatory sweating occurred in 48% of cases, all patients would recommend the procedure, with significant improvement in quality of life scores.
