The effects of tobacco consumption on paternity rates of adults with a history of cryptorchidism

Retrospective study of 153 men who underwent orchiopexy found no significant difference in paternity rates between smokers and nonsmokers, regardless of whether cryptorchidism was unilateral or bilateral. Results suggest tobacco consumption may not impact fertility outcomes in men with surgically corrected undescended testes.
