A descriptive model for a multidisciplinary unit for colorectal and pelvic malformations

This article describes the organizational structure and outcomes of a specialized multidisciplinary center for children with complex colorectal and pelvic conditions. The center treated 1,258 patients from 50 states and 62 countries between 2014-2017, using coordinated weekly planning meetings and combined specialty clinics to streamline care for conditions including ARM, Hirschsprung disease, and neurogenic bowel.
