Adrenalectomy for non-neuroblastic pathology in children

Retrospective study of 40 children undergoing 50 adrenalectomies for non-neuroblastic pathology demonstrates low morbidity with 50% laparoscopic approach. Most patients presented with hormonal excess symptoms, and 38% had genetic predispositions requiring specialized pre-operative testing and surveillance protocols.
