Comparison of robotic versus laparoscopic hepaticojejunostomy for choledochal cyst in children: a first report

Comparative study demonstrates robotic hepaticojejunostomy is superior to laparoscopic approach for choledochal cyst excision in children, with faster anastomosis time, lower difficulty scores, and quicker postoperative recovery. No anastomotic complications occurred in robotic cases versus 3.7% leak rate with laparoscopy.
