Multicenter Study of 342 Anorectal Malformation Patients: Age, Gender, Krickenbeck Subtypes, and Associated Anomalies

Multicenter prospective study of 342 ARM patients across four countries reveals perineal fistula as most common subtype (23.7%), with 48.5% having associated anomalies predominantly affecting cardiac and genitourinary systems. Rectovesical fistula showed highest association rate (96.4%), with significant geographic variation in subtype distribution between Bangladesh and Iran.
