Autologous Buccal Mucosa Graft for Primary and Secondary Reconstruction of Vaginal Anomalies

This retrospective study describes the use of autologous buccal mucosa grafts for primary and secondary vaginal reconstruction in eight patients with diverse conditions including cloacal anomalies, DSD, and vaginal agenesis. The technique offers a viable option for bridging long perineal-to-vaginal distances in young patients and correcting post-surgical strictures.
