Changing Trends in the Referral and Timing of Treatment for Congenital Cryptorchidism: A Single-Center Experience from Bosnia and Herzegovina

This retrospective study of 324 boys in Bosnia and Herzegovina shows that while orchidopexy timing improved between 2008-2017, 65% still underwent surgery after 18 months—later than recommended guidelines. Delayed physician referral was the primary factor contributing to late treatment.
