Evaluation of Lung Injury in Infants with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

This retrospective study examines serum surfactant protein D (SP-D) as a biomarker for lung injury severity in 37 infants with congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Results demonstrate that elevated SP-D levels correlate with CDH severity, offering potential for objective assessment of pulmonary damage during clinical management.
