Complex abdominal wall reconstruction combined with bladder closure in OEIS complex

Retrospective study of 32 cloacal exstrophy patients examining bioprosthetic material use during abdominal wall and bladder closure. Bioprosthetic mesh was associated with older age at closure but achieved successful outcomes without postoperative hernias, supporting its role as a useful adjunct in complex reconstructions.
