Community distress predicts youth gun violence

This retrospective study examines the relationship between community socioeconomic distress and pediatric firearm injuries. Findings demonstrate that higher levels of community distress significantly predict youth gun violence, suggesting targeted neighborhood interventions may effectively reduce firearm-related injuries in children.
