Laparoscopic pyloroplasty versus endoscopic per-oral pyloromyotomy for the treatment of gastroparesis

This study compares per-oral endoscopic pyloromyotomy (POP) with laparoscopic pyloroplasty (LP) for treating medically refractory gastroparesis. POP demonstrates lower perioperative morbidity while achieving similar functional outcomes to LP, supporting its use as a less invasive alternative for gastroparesis management.
