Safety and Feasibility of Per-Oral Pyloromyotomy as Augmentative Therapy after Prior Gastric Electrical Stimulation for Gastroparesis

This study demonstrates that per-oral pyloromyotomy is a safe and effective salvage procedure for patients with persistent gastroparesis symptoms despite gastric electrical stimulation. Short-term outcomes showed significant improvements in both symptom control and gastric motility, supporting endoscopic pyloromyotomy as a viable augmentative therapy option.
