The cloacal anomalies: Anatomical insights through a complex spectrum

This study uses multiplanar MRI to characterize the complex anatomy of cloacal anomalies in 27 patients over 12 years. The authors propose a classification system separating anorectal and urogenital sinus components, stratifying urogenital sinus anomalies into three types based on confluence level with statistically significant differences in common channel length.
