Time-dependent cytokine landscapes in an ex vivo microfluidic glioblastoma platform

This study presents a novel ex vivo microfluidic platform that preserves native glioblastoma architecture while enabling time-dependent cytokine profiling. The model addresses critical limitations in current GBM research by maintaining the tumor microenvironment, offering improved preclinical testing capabilities for this aggressive brain cancer with poor prognosis.
