Surgical treatment of monogenic inflammatory bowel disease: A single clinical center experience

This retrospective study examines surgical management of 18 pediatric patients with monogenic inflammatory bowel disease requiring intervention before or during hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Key findings include high perforation rates, benefit of early preventative enterostomies, and effectiveness of posterior sagittal approach for complex anorectal complications.
