Current operative management of congenital lobar emphysema in children: A report from the Midwest Pediatric Surgery Consortium

Multicenter retrospective study of 53 children with congenital lobar emphysema treated surgically across eleven pediatric hospitals (2009-2015). CLE represented 10.5% of lung malformations, with lower prenatal detection rates compared to other lesions, highlighting diagnostic and management challenges in this condition.
