Lymphatic network remodeling after small bowel resection

Mouse model study reveals significant lymphatic vessel remodeling following 50% small bowel resection, with abnormal branching patterns in mesenteric collectors and reduced mucosal lymphatic density. These structural changes may impair lipid transport and contribute to nutritional deficiencies and liver complications in short gut syndrome patients.
