The Outcome of the Single Step Questionnaire in Pectus Excavatum Patients is Phase Dependent

Longitudinal study of 108 pectus excavatum patients shows the Single Step Questionnaire produces significantly different satisfaction scores depending on timing after Nuss bar placement, with the most clinically relevant change occurring between 6 weeks and 6 months postoperatively. Authors recommend multiple assessments rather than single-point measurement.
