Prospective evaluation of the management of bowel dysfunction in children with neuropathic lower urinary tract dysfunction and its effect on bladder dynamics

Prospective study of 30 pediatric patients demonstrating that systematic bowel management significantly improves bladder function in children with neuropathic lower urinary tract dysfunction. Treatment reduced bowel dysfunction scores, rectal diameter, and UTI frequency while increasing bladder capacity, supporting integrated bowel-bladder management protocols.
