Abstract

Inguinal herniotomy remains one of the most frequently performed surgical procedures in children. Its fundamental principle is the high ligation of the hernia sac, particularly in infants, where the inguinal canal is short and anatomically immature (1). Successful repair depends on accurate anatomical knowledge and careful handling of spermatic cord structures, especially the vas deferens and testicular vessels (2,3).
