This was a half-day course focused on teaching the fine points of a the laparoscopic pediatric hernia repair led by Drs Ian Mitchell, Todd Ponsky, Jeff Gander, Sophia Abdulhai, Abdulraouf Lamoshi, Louis Seya.
We presented many of the different options available for the non-mesh lap inguinal hernia repair and then focus on the specific steps of the lap-assisted, percutaneous technique. The different techniques and instrumentation are demonstrated through in-depth, evidence-based discussions, review of edited surgical videos, and discussion of surgical tips and tricks.
