The technique involves first exposing and dividing the primary vein and ligament using surgical instruments.
The bronchus is exposed and ligated using surgical staplers.
The lower lobe is checked for adequate ventilation after bronchus ligation.
The artery is then exposed and checked from the posterior view.
The densely fused fissure is divided using surgical staplers.
There were no intra-operative or post-operative complications in the three-patient series.
