Researchers looked at tiny messengers called small etchocelio vesicles, little molecular packages released by organs, what happens after surgery? The liver dramatically quites down its signals. Liver enriched mRNA in these vesicles drops sharply, while antiposterrized cargo remains unchanged. What's interesting is that liver derived vesicles signals strongly correlate with BMI, left in, and resistant months after surgery. So the big takeaway? After a vertical sleeve gastroxamine surgery, the liver and fat tissue talk to each other in totally different ways, and that crosstalk may drive the metabolic improvements that we see clinically.
