The research examines intralesional sclerotherapy as an alternative treatment approach for these slow-flow vascular anomalies in children.

  • Doxycycline sclerotherapy is an effective alternative treatment for lymphatic and veno-lymphatic malformations in pediatric patients.
  • Intralesional sclerotherapy targets congenital slow-flow vascular malformations without requiring surgical excision.
  • Single-center experience demonstrates feasibility of doxycycline as a sclerosing agent for LMs and VLMs in children.
  • Treatment approach offers minimally invasive option for managing complex pediatric vascular anomalies.
