Surgical Experience and Learning Points in the Management of Foregut Duplication Cysts

Retrospective analysis of 41 pediatric patients with foregut duplication cysts demonstrates thoracoscopic resection is safe and effective, with complete excision achieved in all cases and no mortality. Key surgical considerations include careful dissection of recurrent laryngeal nerve in cervical cysts and recognition of shared tracheal wall in superior mediastinal lesions.
