Double purse-string suturing: An easy plication technique in thoracoscopic repair of diaphragmatic eventration

Novel double purse-string suturing technique for thoracoscopic diaphragmatic eventration repair in 16 pediatric patients (mean age 2.2 years) achieved symmetrical muscle stretching with minimal complications. All patients showed symptom improvement with mean hospital stay of 4.9 days and 2.3 intercostal space diaphragm descent at one month.
