Sutured point-fixation versus Jaboulay fixation for salvaged testicular torsion in children

This retrospective study compared sutured point-fixation versus Jaboulay tunica plication techniques for testicular fixation following torsion in 244 pediatric patients. Both methods demonstrated equivalent effectiveness in preventing recurrent torsion with no significant differences in complications or return to theater rates, supporting Jaboulay fixation as a viable alternative to traditional sutured techniques.
