Pediatric ovarian immature teratoma: Histological grading and clinical characteristics

This retrospective study of seven pediatric patients with ovarian immature teratomas found that all COG stage I cases achieved event-free survival with surgery alone, regardless of histological grade. The findings suggest postoperative chemotherapy may be unnecessary even for grade 3 tumors in early-stage pediatric patients.
