The Roles of Neuropilin 2/VEGF-C Axis in a Series of Recurrent Lymphangioma
Topic overview
This study of 80 pediatric patients identifies elevated VEGF-C and neuropilin 2 expression as molecular markers distinguishing recurrent from nonrecurrent lymphangiomas. The findings suggest VEGF-C/Nrp2 axis inhibition may prevent recurrence in this challenging pediatric vascular malformation.
