This retrospective study evaluates 40 years of cloacal exstrophy closure outcomes, demonstrating that the Dual-Staged Pathway (staged osteotomy with staged bladder closure) achieved 100% success in 34 cases since 1995. The standardized approach proved effective even in complex cases with larger pelvic diastasis, offering improved safety and outcomes compared to earlier techniques.
