Anti-TNF biologic therapy does not increase postoperative morbidity in pediatric Crohn's patients

Retrospective study examining whether preoperative anti-TNF biologic therapy increases 30-day postoperative infectious complications in pediatric Crohn's disease patients undergoing abdominal surgery. Findings suggest biologic therapy within 12 weeks of operation does not significantly elevate surgical morbidity risk in this population.
