A novel magnetic compression technique for small intestinal end-to-side anastomosis in rats

This study demonstrates that micromagnetic ring compression can create small intestinal end-to-side anastomoses in rats significantly faster than traditional hand-sewn techniques (6.8 vs 16.1 minutes). The research validates magnetic compression technology as a feasible alternative for gastrointestinal reconstruction in small animal models.
